most of them, such as rentafilm.org are probably parked, awaiting a buyer. The "455 other domains" figure has dropped from "about 500" a year ago so possibly there is a modest income to be had from creating sleeper domains.

Incidentally, re Freedom of London: Michael states that it is a very coveted honour. But this page on the City website suggests that anyone (of reasonably good standing) can apply for the title and pay a "fine" which currently is a very modest £30. I leave you to decide. Michael is not an honorary freeman. (See this 2010 Feb publicity stunt involving supposed Freeman's rights.)
